The Biden administration will write off $7.4 billion in student debt for 277,000 borrowers, according to an announcement from the White House.

Earlier this month, the president of USA Joe Biden announced plans for student debt relief that would benefit at least 23 million Americans, addressing a critical issue for young voters whose support he needs to win re-election in November.
