Kyiv/Washington/Brussels/Berlin/London – The US has announced further military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that he had promised his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy a security package worth more than a billion dollars (956.75 million euros) in a telephone call. It includes additional artillery, coastal defense weapon systems and ammunition. The aid should support Ukraine in its fight in Donbass.
