Biden Highlights Erdogan’s ‘Exceptional Work’ to Solve Grain Crisis

US President Joe Biden has thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for what he has done about Ukrainian grain extraction and Sweden and Finland joining NATO.

Erdogan and Biden met on Wednesday as part of the NATO summit being held in Madrid, the Spanish capital.

In his pre-meeting statements, Biden said he was happy to meet President Erdogan.

Biden thanked Erdogan for his “exceptional work” in ensuring that grain blocked in Ukrainian ports can be put on international markets and for “allowing Sweden and Finland to progress in the process of joining the EU. ‘NATO’.

And Biden added, addressing President Erdogan: “You are doing a great job. I want to thank you”.
