Washington: The US has raised security concerns. Chinese video app Tik Tok has been banned by the government. However, in the meantime, President Joe Biden surprised by starting an account on Tik Tok.

The 81-year-old Biden shared the video during the Super Bowl championship on Tik Tok the other day. It is believed that the president came to Tik Tok targeting young voters as the election is approaching. The US government has banned the use of TikTok in government offices and electronic devices used by officials for official purposes, accusing it of leaking information for China.

Republicans criticized Biden for joining Tik Tok amid security threats. However, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby responded that security concerns over TikTok still remain the same.
