For several months, Belgian motorists using the A2 Brussels-Valenciennes motorway have been diverted by the small town of Vicq, in France. The deviation via this European axis of the E19 causes major traffic jams but also a degradation of the roadway linked to the passage of many heavy goods vehicles. Neighboring homes also complain regarding pollution and noise pollution.
