After the finale there was “The Great Reunion” of the jungle campers. It became clear that there was a lot to be said.

After the finale of the anniversary season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” flickered across German TV screens on Saturday, RTL showed (also on RTL+) on Sunday evening “The big reunion” of the celebrity campers. First, the new king of the jungle Filip Pavlovic (27) was welcomed by the moderator duo Sonja Zietlow (53) and Daniel Hartwich (43). But after an easy start, it was soon about the many small and large dramas, arguments and discussions in the first season from South Africa.

“Out of every mosquito an elephant”

It felt like almost everyone got together at some point for some reason. The time in the camp was particularly exhausting because “every mosquito was made into an elephant,” explained the newly crowned king of the jungle. By the way, he doesn’t exclude himself. Third-placed Manuel Flickinger (33) was one of the few candidates who were not always at odds with others.

In contrast, Anouschka Renzi (57) and Linda Nobat (26) were often the focus of disputes and quarrels. As during the season, Renzi emphasized that there was a lot of “gimmicky” on the show. But she also had nothing against the fellow campers. She should have done a “course in reality” before. Jasmin Herren (43) countered that she also “had some self-expression” with her camp colleague. She couldn’t stand it when a person acted like they were better than another person. “But I also said a lot of nice things,” Renzi replied.

A certain insult, which had also caused a stir in the jungle camp, was not one of these “lovely things”. “The level of insult that Anouschka uttered against me” is at a level that Tina Ruland (55) cannot approve. The discussion surrounding the reunion led – as expected – to no rapprochement between the two actresses. While Renzi excused herself that she just said the whole thing to herself, Ruland explained: “I said I didn’t want to talk to you anymore.” And it will apparently stay that way. Because even if Renzi later offered an apology, it didn’t look as if Ruland would accept it.

Meanwhile, Viceroy Eric Stehfest (32) noted that with the many reviews of different scenes from the season, he now sees that there was a lot of whispering around. A few days ago he had described it all as “fake shit” at the camp. “Nothing is real,” Renzi, who by the way hadn’t expected that pretty much everything would be filmed, had already said. She was surrounded by “amateur actors”. It was now very irritating how she and Harald Glööckler (56) would have behaved. The designer, on the other hand, may not agree with the actor’s observations, but everyone has the right to their own opinion.

In any case, Glööckler often tried to mediate in the camp. Because everyone has once said something that he or she may not have meant. At some point you are simply overtired and “through” on the show. Apparently Nobat could only agree to a limited extent. “No, I’m not sorry,” she explained. What she said, she meant in the respective situations.

There might still be something brewing

But “I’m a star – get me out of here! The big reunion” was also about happy moments. For example, Flickinger spoke about the fact that he could not have passed the “Stars on the Abyss” test without Stehfest’s encouragement. This success was his “personal highlight” for him. And the participants also talked about friendships and the possible burgeoning love of Tara Tabitha (28) and Pavlovic. You and Peter Althof (66) were his two “reference persons” in the camp. “Logically” the bodyguard legend and the winner of the jungle will remain friends, said Althof.

“Friendly, I think we’re on the same level, but I don’t think there will be more,” Pavlovic said of his relationship with Tabitha. She, on the other hand, is still “right at the start”. She always told the cameras and everyone that she had feelings for him, just not him, Zietlow interjected. “Didn’t I tell you? I thought you knew that,” she explained. Pavlovic replied jokingly, “Am I here on ‘Bachelorette’ or in the jungle?” Who knows, maybe something could happen after the king of the jungle was informed about the situation.

Fans of the format will then probably find out in two weeks how the (non-)relationships of the campers will develop in the coming days. Because on February 20th from 8:15 p.m. there will be a big jungle “aftermath” on RTL.
