Bigflo and Oli sing about the “sacred mess” that is France

MUSIC – Bigflo and Oli are back. The two rappers Toulouse unveiled, this Tuesday, April 5, the clip of their new song Holy shitthe first in two years.

And for his reappearance, le duo did a great job: he locked himself in a completely soundproof glass studio. Inside: a red sofa, plants and small pieces of furniture to put down your equipment.

From Toulouse to Paris, via the Pyrenees. The cube was then dropped off in several places in France, attracting a crowd of curious people, as you can see below.

“We wanted to come back with a meaningful and important song for us rather than a light and more ‘expected’ song. We hope not to have been mistaken. This clip was really a titanic hassle to put in place”, specify Bigflo and Oli in a message on YouTube.

Revealed in 2015 with their first album The court of the big ones, the two rappers return, here, with a more political song. “I answer ‘I am French’ hesitantly, as if to doubt it became obvious. No matter the edge, no matter the camp, I was told to hate the president”, we hear them say in Holy shita sort of declaration of love, tinged with anger, to France.

“As many idiots as complexes. If I leave you won’t miss me, but at the other end of the world, first reflex, I always look for French people”, add the two artists in song. They conclude, specifying that their album is soon finished. No date has yet been announced.
