Biggest challenge for Australia is to beat India in India; Glenn McGrath

Former Aussie fast bowler Glenn McGrath says that beating India in the Test series is the biggest challenge for the Australian team. McGrath’s comments come ahead of the Aussies’ tour of India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy next year. Under captain Pat Cummins, Australia won the Test series against Pakistan. Moreover, Australia was able to draw 1-1 in the Test against Lanka.

The biggest challenge in front of the Australian cricket team is India. Still many of the Australian cricketers have not been able to understand how to play in Indian conditions.
Australia toured India in 2004 and won the Test series 2-1. But after that, no Australian team has been able to win a Test series in India.

Many Australian players have come to play in India as part of the IPL. But McGrath says many of them have not been able to adapt to Indian conditions.
