Bilal El Khannouss, Genk midfielder, should experience a decisive winter transfer window. The player is, according to a close source, on the verge of changing course. A transfer which should be done for a sum of around 35 million euros.
According to the same source, six major clubs have expressed their wish to recruit the Moroccan international: Atlético Madrid, Roma, Galatasaray, Benfica Lisbon, Marseille and Leipzig.
At 19, the native of Strombeek-Bever might therefore leave Genk and Belgium for the very first time. The Moroccan joined the Genk youth team in 2019, from the Anderlecht training center.
Bilal El Khannouss is also part of national coach Walid Regragui’s pre-list for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and should be part of the list of 27 who will go to Ivory Coast, the announcement of which is scheduled for this Thursday, December 28.
