It now offers its products for trading in futures contracts denominated in US dollars and cryptocurrencies
Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Binance, the world’s largest global cryptocurrency exchange, today announced the launch of its cryptocurrency futures trading products, after obtaining regulatory approvals to provide these services to qualified local users in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Binance Bahrain is the first trading platform to obtain this license in the region to provide this type of service and the only trading platform to obtain a CAT4 license.
The launch of these products follows comprehensive regulatory reviews and a consultative period to ensure that Binance Bahrain, which operates the Binance platform in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has met the compliance and governance requirements needed to offer futures products locally in accordance with the regulations.
Qualified domestic users must complete and pass the mandatory suitability assessment questionnaire in order to benefit from these products.
Users around the world rely on Binance futures products to provide liquidity, hedging, low spreads and competitive prices. Binance leads the global digital asset market in terms of spot and future trading volume and order book.
