The four arrested over the massacre at the concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow on Friday, who were remanded in custody until May 22, appeared with signs of abuse on their faces.
As Russia counts its casualties with at least 137 dead, harsh images of their arrest are making the rounds on the internet. In one photo, one of those arrested is shown lying on the gym floor with his pants down to his ankles and a battery attached to his genitals.

Wires can be seen from a TA-57 military field telephone capable of discharging up to 80 volts connected to the captive’s genitalia, which foams at the mouth and appears to be clenching its teeth. A man in military uniform steps on the suspect’s foot, named Samseddin Faridouni. The photo was posted on Telegram channels considered friendly to Russian security services.
In another post on Twitter, there is a report of one of the four’s ear being cut off with a knife during his arrest in Bryansk.
The Tapik method
A Telegram network linked to the Russian mercenary organization Wagner noted that the photo “shows a routine investigative practice using a TA-57 military field phone, known as a ‘Tapik.’
“By turning the coil…discharges are released [ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος] through the wires … up to 80 volts, which in turn are connected to the prisoner’s fingers, ears or genitals … For best effect, the captured fighter should be surrounded by water.”

So is Prigozhin’s use of a sledgehammer, an executor of the murderous dictator Vladimir Putin’s will. If all the evidence is there and gathered, why should the FSB torture the Tajiks? To take responsibility and give a version convenient for Putin and the FSB?”
