Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain has granted a new license to Bion Money, a part of the Bion Group. Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rasheed Mohammed Al-Maraj has announced the decision to grant a Class 2 Investment Company license to Bion Money. Bion Money CE said that the new license is sufficient to provide new services to the customers and it is not available to any other organization in the country. O Roberto Mancon said. . The company offers cards, payments, open banking and personal financial management services to its customers. Apart from this, the Class 2 Investment Company license granted by the Central Bank of Bahrain will enable it to provide all services for the day-to-day financial needs of the customers. In the first five months of 2023, the company achieved a six-fold increase in domestic and international payments compared to the same period last year. The company has also reported a 10-fold growth in the number of customers.
