Cryptocurrency bitcoin slumped to a 16-month low on Thursday, extending its decline along with riskier assets such as technology stocks, and also dragged down by the collapse of the TerraUSD, which lost its peg to the dollar this week.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, fell nearly 2% to $28379.26, its lowest since January 2021.
