Bitcoin drops to 39,658 dollars

The price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin has fallen 0.4% since 5 p.m. Saturday to $39,658 at 12 p.m. New York time, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News on Sunday.
Bitcoin prices fluctuated by an average of 1.5%, trading between $39,352 and $39,954.

It is now down 43% from its high on November 10 at $68,992.

Bitcoin lost 4% of its value in the past week and is down 14% so far this year.
