Black Sunday. A new case of femicide was registered in the White City, the victim was identified as Eliana Arredondo Salazar, 44 years old, who leaves 4 children as orphans. The event was recorded at 6 in the morning of this Sunday, May 28, in a house located in the Quinta Samay urbanization of the Cayma district.
The main suspect was identified César Rodríguez Garamentí, 44 years old, who ended up injured by jumping from the third floor of the house.
FACTS
According to the Police, the residents of the urbanization called the Cayma police station because heartbreaking screams were heard inside a house. After that, the agents arrived at the building, knocked on the door, but no one opened the door, however, they observed that César Rodríguez had thrown himself from the third floor and was injured on the pavement.
Given this, the suspect was helped by the paramedics of the Cayma commune and they helped him to the III hospital in Yanahuara. However, the agents entered the house through an adjoining area and inside they found the lifeless body of the mother of the family.
According to preliminary investigations, it is presumed that the man tried to escape after the victim died. Homicide detectives and Criminalistics Experts arrived at the scene, to start with the corresponding proceedings and determine the cause of death.
Unfortunately, this new case would be the ninth femicide in the region so far this year.
