Black Theater of Prague is presented in Medellin

A show that combines dark lights with fluorescent suits is the aesthetic bet of the Prague Black Theatera group founded in 1961 and that this August 30 is presented to the 7:30 p.m. in the theater of University of Medellin.

This is the first stop of a national tour that also includes the cities of Bogotá –August 31 and September 1– and Cali –September 2–. The stage show lasts 90 minutes and includes characters that add to the surreal feel of the experience.

In 1961, Jirí Srnec, the director of this Theater created this innovative and magical technique.

This renowned show became very popular in the Czech Republic and today has toured more than 68 countries offering more than five million viewers these works, which are characterized by presenting a compilation with the most outstanding scenes in the history of Black Theater since its creation.

Ticket prices for the show range from $60,000 to $250,000.
