BLACKPINK Lisa’s decision to dance sexy at the Crazy Horse Paris cabaret club is still causing public controversy. Remembering that cabaret clubs are synonymous with erotic images. Chinese artist Angelababy was also affected because she allegedly watched BLACKPINK Lisa’s performance.

During the performance at Crazy Horse Paris, BLACKPINK’s Lisa wore a revealing costume that exposed her chest and buttocks. Her sexy dance was even called a striptease by a number of Korean netizens.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa also drew criticism in China. Despite not appearing topless, like other Crazy Horse Paris dancers, China has laws that prohibit its citizens and performers from participating in or watching any shows of an erotic nature.

As of November 1, 2023, BLACKPINK Lisa’s Chinese social media account, Weibo, was deleted. Now Angelababy’s Weibo account, which has 104 million followers, has disappeared.

Apart from Angelababy, fellow artist Zhang Jia Ni, who allegedly watched Lisa BLACKPINK’s performance with her, also experienced the same thing. They can’t access Weibo.

According to Koreaboo’s report, Chinese artists who have violated the law will lose their platform to speak, reducing their reach to the public.

Fashion houses CELINE and BVLGARI in the Chinese region are starting to take action. Considering that both fashion houses appointed Lisa BLACKPINK as global ambassador.

Photos of BLACKPINK’s Lisa on CELINE and BVLGARI’s Weibo accounts were deleted following the controversy over her appearance at Crazy Horse Paris. BVLGARI CEO JC Babin has even deleted his photo with BLACKPINK’s Lisa. He only left a photo of Lisa BLACKPINK with fellow global ambassador BVLGARI.

This news suddenly became a hot topic of conversation on Korean community forums. Not a few Korean netizens also criticized and hoped that the BLACKPINK personnel from Thailand would let go of the KPop artist label.

“Wow, luxury brands are really sensitive to Chinese sentiment. Considering that Lisa has been appearing there for a long time,” commented a netizen on a Korean community forum.

“Reap what you sow, now quickly drop the KPop label,” wrote one netizen.

“The Chinese market is very valuable. I don’t think any other brand will cooperate with it,” said another netizen.

Previously, Crazy Horse Paris had denied the news that Angelababy watched Lisa BLACKPINK’s performance. However, his and Zhang Jia Ni’s Weibo accounts have now been deleted.
