It’s official. The four members of BLACKPINK have left YG Entertainment, an agency that saw them debut as a K-pop group in 2016 and become the biggest female idols worldwide. On December 29 (KST), through a statement, the company founded by Yang Hyun Suk confirmed that they reached an agreement with the superstars not to renew their individual contracts.

Previously, Korean media reported that Jennie had established a personal agency to manage her solo career. The actress also confirmed this information shortly after, while YG had opted for silence.
