In the 1920s and 1930s, Blancpain manufactured the first mass-produced, self-winding wristwatches. The brand then played an important role in the revival of mechanical watches in the 1980s. This also applies to the women’s collections: Ladybird models are exclusively equipped with mechanical movements, decorated and assembled by hand. Numerous complications are available, alone or combined: ultra-thin, retrograde small seconds, large date, complete calendar, retrograde calendar, moon phases, flyback chronograph.
