According to our information, several roadblocks will be organized across the four corners of Wallonia, starting tomorrow morning. Here is where the actions will take place:
– At the German border on the E40 towards Liège. Farmers will be there from 7 a.m. to build a filter dam. Objective: to verify that the goods from the refrigerated trucks are indeed of European origin.
– This will also be the case on the side of the Luxembourg border near Sterpenich this time around 8 a.m. on the E25.
– Still at 8 a.m., another filter barrier will take place on the E42 on the Saint-Vith side
– Finally, several dams are also planned in several roundabouts in Condroz and Hesbaye. Rest assured, only trucks and professionals will be arrested, not individuals.
The aim of all these blockages is to put pressure on the meeting of the food task force of the FPS Economy which will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. between experts from the Ministers of Agriculture Clarinval (federal), Borsus (Walloon) and Brouns (Flemish) which will look at administrative simplification, based on proposals from farmers.
