Out-of-season fruits are sold at high prices.
Publika.az Citing “CNN Turk” channel, it is reported that non-seasonal fruits are currently sold at high prices in the market in Turkey.
It is said that even the price of cherries and black plums is so high that these fruits are worth as much as gold.
According to information, the price of two cherries is 50 lira.
Although the mentioned fruits are the most consumed summer fruits in Turkey, it is possible to find them on the counters in cold weather as well. But as they say: “The price of gold”.
