During the Guerrilla Collective Showcase 2023 stream, developers from Hyperstange studio informed that Blood West will leave its early access in December 2023. But why make it simple when you can make it complicated? These smart guys also published alongside the event a ticket de blog Steamto specify the release date instead of integrating it into the trailer, namely December 5th.
Blood West is a immersive sim of survival, horror and infiltration, in which you play as a resurrected desperado who will seek to end a curse and find redemption for the peace of his soul, by fighting hellish demons who have invaded the border. Blood West is a retro FPS with an atypical concept, endowed with a catchy gameplay and a successful atmosphere. Unfortunately, its lack of complexity, balance and storytelling prevents it from being really interesting at the moment. But the road to early access is still long and we hope to see its defects corrected by the release in final version.
