For the eighth time this year, the OÖNachrichten is looking for the most beautiful gardens in the country. “It is certainly the best election in the super election year of 2024,” says organic gardener Karl Ploberger, who acts as chief juror and always visits the winners.
The first hobby gardeners applied last week and are showing off their little paradise right on their doorstep at /gartenwahl. All gardeners are invited to take part – owners of large and small gardens, lush balconies, modern terraces, natural oases and fruit and vegetable gardens.

“There are so many great gardens in Upper Austria that should definitely be shown off. I’m happy regarding every participant in the garden election. Take part! I’m looking forward to the beautiful photos,” says Karl Ploberger, OÖN organic gardener.
The OÖNachrichten will also be looking for the most beautiful garden in Upper Austria in 2024.
