Blues comeback at Avalanche goes unrewarded

Im LAOLA1-LIVE NHL game, Colorado Avalanche finds it’s way back to winning ways following ‘blip’ once morest Anaheim Ducks. There is a 4-2 home win for the reigning Stanley Cup winners once morest the St. Louis Blues.

In the first third, the hosts are completely superior and logically they soon make it 2-0 through Newhook (10th) and Compher (12th). When Rodrigues (25th) raises in the middle third, things seem to have gone early.

Then the blues hit. Schenn (37./PP) and Barbashev (50.) give rise to new hope for the final phase, but the equalizer doesn’t want to succeed. Instead, Nieto makes the Empty Netter three seconds before the end.

Colorado has won seven of their last eight games. For St. Louis, however, it is the third loss in a row.

The Avs, with 57 points (48 games), are one point ahead of the Minnesota Wild, who have played a game fewer, and are back in a playoff spot third in the Central Division. For the Blues (49 points from 50 games), the gap is increasing once more.
