soundcore has introduced a new Bluetooth speaker and expands the Motion series with the new soundcore Motion x600 model. Benefits include Hi-Fi sound including Spatial Audio, long-lasting battery and customizable equalizer.

The Motion Boom Plus (our test) is followed by the soundcore Motion x600 Bluetooth speaker from the Anker subsidiary, which aims to convince in particular in terms of sound. According to the manufacturer, the premium design is supposed to be inspired by the design of modern and extravagant concert halls. I don’t really see that now, but oh well.
The speaker, available in Polar Grey, Aurora Green and Moon Blue, is made from sturdy aluminum and has a discreet handle for taking it anywhere. The 30 cm x 8.1 cm x 12 cm speaker weighs 1.98 kilograms.
On the sound side, the Soundcore Motion x600 relies on Hi-Red audio and that too wirelessly via Bluetooth. It supports high-resolution LDAC codec up to 900 kilobits per second. The output power is 50 watts even in Spatial Audio thanks to a special chip and algorithm.
Virtual spatial sound and long battery life
Stereo sound is thus converted into 3-channel spatial sound, while “cinema speaker-style digital signal processing” is claimed to reproduce 8 times the power. Five audio speakers (two woofers, a dual tweeter and a full-range driver and three amplifiers) are housed in the compact speaker.
In addition, the Soundcore Motion x600 has IPX7 certification and is protected against water. The 6,400mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 12 hours of battery life and is charged via USB Type-C.
It streams music either wirelessly using the Bluetooth 5.3 standard or via an AUX cable. An individually adjustable equalizer in nine levels offers the possibility of personalizing the sound via the soundcore app for iOS and Android.

Either way, it all sounds pretty exciting. Time will tell, however, whether the Soundcore Motion x600 can compete with the best Bluetooth speakers, such as the similarly sized Marshall Acton III (our review).
Pricing and availability
The Soundcore Motion x600 already has the price advantage on its side. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is 199.00 euros. However, you can save 50 euros via the official website at launch until May 8, 2023. From May 9, the soundcore Motion X600 will be available on soundcore, Amazon.de and in stores.
