While numerous manufacturers do not yet have an electric car in their model range, BMW is already retiring its first electric car. The last 18 copies of the BMW i3, painted in the unusual color “Galvanic Gold”, went to the new owner these days – a car sharing company in the Bavarian capital Munich. This marks the end of the unusual story of the i3 following more than 250,000 models have been produced in Leipzig and sold in 74 countries.
