coudl you share your reaction to the IDF’s recent confirmation about Ariel and Kfir Bibas, as well as Oded lifshitz, and the unnamed hostage?

NT: It’s heart-wrenching.These children were innocent victims, their lives stolen for political gain. And Oded,an 83-year-old peace activist,taken captive in his own home.It’s tragic, and our hearts go out to their families.

Words for the Bibas Family

Could you offer a message of support to the Bibas family, as they continue their harrowing search for answers and justice? Their pain must be unimaginable.

NT: My heart breaks for them.I urge them to hold onto hope,knowing that people across Israel,the region,and the world stand with them,demanding answers and accountability. Their strength and resilience in the face of this horror are a testament to their love for Shiri and their boys. We will keep fighting for justice, whatever that might look like for them.

The Role of International Pressure

NT: It’s crucial. International pressure,including economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation,could force Hamas to change it’s calculus. But we must remember, peace isn’t just about pressure. It requires dialog, understanding, and a shared commitment to human rights.The international community must engage, too, offering political and economic support to build a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians.

The Path Forward

Given the challenges, what steps do you see as key to achieving peace and justice in the region?

NT: We need honest brokers, like the United Nations, to push for demilitarization and ensure human rights are protected. Both sides must recognize the other’s right to live in peace and security.And we must advocate for a two-state solution, with borders that are safe and recognized, and a shared commitment to ending the occupation. Above all, we must never grow numb to the pain of loss without demanding an end to the cycle of violence.

NT: They can learn more about the complex situation here, challenge their own biases, and engage in meaningful dialog.
