The first phase of the sterilization campaign was carried out at the Uyapar hospital, in which 12 women benefited.
This was announced through a press release from the Bolívar state government, this is part of the “Bolívar Renace” surgical plan, and it has the participation of a multidisciplinary team of specialists, and residents of the gynecology and obstetrics, anesthesia and center nurses.
Thanks to the management of Governor Ángel Marcano, and the First Lady, Yajaira Arocha, together with the Bolívar Social Foundation, the necessary inputs for the interventions were guaranteed; surgical kit, in addition to postoperative treatment for each of the beneficiaries.
It is a plan that is oriented towards female care, advancing in the development of family planning in the population.
