Bomb alarm at the station in Katowice. Trains were suspended and passengers were evacuated. Communication paralysis in Silesia was triggered by a morning bomb alert. The passage of trains through Katowice has been suspended, and pyrotechnicians are carrying out activities at the railway station.
Update: The services checked the station facility, the alarm turned out to be false.

As Agnieszka Żyła from the Katowice police told us. Before 8:00 a.m., an unknown man called 112 to report that an explosive had been planted at the Railway Station in Katowice. There are several such reports a month.
“The facility manager decided to evacuate passengers and train traffic was suspended. “Activities are currently underway on site,” we heard from the police.
The facility is being checked by the services. The event generates paralysis in Silesia. Train traffic through Katowice is completely suspended. “Until we check the entire station, nothing can enter the platforms,” the spokeswoman for KMP Katowice told us.
