The Italian coach of Real Madrid is accused of hiding around one million euros in the period 2014-2015, during his first term on the bench of the Merenches.
Ancelotti was also under investigation by the financial police for another case, but had avoided prosecution as no tangible evidence of tax evasion was found. In fact, at that time, the Polynikian coach had admitted that his financial advisors led him to wrong decisions by giving him bad advice.

Career in clubs
He started his career in 1974 in Parma. In 1979 he moved to Roma where he stayed for 8 years, while also captaining the team. In Roma he won the A’ Division championship in 1983 and the Cup 4 times. From 1987 to 1992 he played in Milan winning 2 Champions Leagues and 2 championships.
International career
He made his debut on January 6, 1981 in a game against the Swiss national team. He participated in the 1986 and 1990 World Cups.
Coaching career
He started from Regiana in 1995 in the Second National League, where he won promotion to the First Division. He moved on to Parma, where he finished 2nd in the league, earning a Champions League spot. He went on to Juventus, where he started on good terms, but the inability to win the league saw him out of the team.
In 2001 he took over Milan, a team where he had hung up his football boots. In the first year he reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. In the 2002–03 season, and after many changes in the team’s roster, they won the Champions League by defeating Juventus in the final. Very successful years followed, as Milan won another Champions League in 2006–07, while in 2004–05 they were finalists.
In June 2009 he leaves Italy for the first time to continue at Chelsea. On the island he managed to win the Super Cup in 2009, but also the league and cup in 2010. After a bad run in 2011 and an inability to find players to change the team’s image, despite 60 million for Fernando Torres and 25 million for David Luiz, he was fired from the club and according to reports, the new Arab owners of Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a 2-year contract with him. On 30 December 2011, the 2.5 year deal was officially announced and he became the highest paid coach in France with annual earnings of around €6m.
Considering only the current form of Europe’s top club cup, i.e. from 1992 onwards, in May 2014 he became the only manager to win the Champions League three times, after Real Madrid won the title. This record was equaled on 26 May 2018 by Zinedine Zidane, who, in fact, won 3 consecutive Champions Leagues (2016, 2017 and 2018) with Real.

On 17 May 2023, he also surpassed Alex Ferguson in Champions League appearances as he coached a team for the 191st time in the top club competition, becoming the first manager to appear in the competition.
