Growth in Transport and Freight Forwarding Enterprises in Saudi Arabia According to the Ministry of Commerce, licenses have already been granted to 1211 enterprises in this sector. The Saudi Ministry of Commerce revealed that so many commercial registrations were granted in the transport and cargo movement sector. The ministry also said that 514 commercial registrations have been granted in this sector since the beginning of this year.
An average of 85 commercial registrations were granted per month. To improve the business environment in the logistics services sector, ease license procedures and increase the speed of business, the Ministries have come up with transparent measures. The statistics show that the logistics sector in the country has taken a huge leap as a result of the Ministry’s reform measures.
