A modmaker named doodlum has released a mod for Starfield called Upscaling Fix. As you might guess, it improves the performance of upscalers in the game by correcting blurry textures. The modification is already available on Nexus Mods. The author explained that the problem with blurred textures in the original was due to the fact that Bethesda Game Studios forgot to enable negative offset for mip maps, which prevents texture blur. At the same time, the modmaker himself, according to him, used official guides from AMD, which describe ways to eliminate such a defect. The modification makes textures clearer at any resolution, and is suitable not only for AMD FSR, but also for those added by Nvidia DLSS and Intel XeSS mods.
