RUSSIAN DEFENSE MINISTER WANTS TO PRODUCE MORE TANKS
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu called on Saturday to produce more tanks to meet the needs of the Russian army in its operation in Ukraine. It “has set the goal of continuing to increase tank production,” the Russian military said in a statement.
According to the minister, this increase is necessary to “meet the needs of the Russian forces which fulfill the tasks of the special military operation”, specifies the press release. Sergei Shoigu also stressed the need to improve the security of armored vehicles and their crews, according to the same source.
