Hear:

Heiko Thieme is perhaps the best-known stockbroker in Europe, and probably even one of the best-known worldwide. It was a never-finished doctoral thesis on stock exchange listing rules that brought Heiko into the world at the time. Heiko would never have believed that he would ever end up on the stock exchange. We went into asset management via Wood Mackenzie and Deutsche Bank. The American Heritage Fund was a flop fund before Heiko, then had great phases with Heiko, but there were also problems with individual investors, so Heiko stopped this activity. From then on came the second phase of self-employment in various facets as a speaker, author and even social media star in the age of Biden and Trump. Throughout the journey we take Heiko’s first stock analysis, ex-trainees like Markus Koch, all-in ideas during the biggest crash of modern times, the stimulating Heiko Thieme Club, the Austrian stock market and much more. And an anecdote: Heiko had left his red trademark scarf on a bench near the Vienna International Center subway stadium, and 30 minutes later it was still there. Yes, I tried, went there, found him… and am proud of honest Vienna. Heiko about himself: “I look like Santa Claus, but I’m also honest myself. Thanks to Vienna!”.
