In the fourth game of the first round of the NHL playoffs, the Boston Bruins clinched their third win against the Florida Panthers. Thanks to an outstanding Jake DeBrusk, the Bruins ultimately won 6-2 (1-0, 1-1, 4-1) and only need one win in the best-of-seven series to advance to the next round of the playoffs to reach.

Brad Marchand gave the Bruins the lead in the tenth minute, and DeBrusk increased the power play to 2-0 right at the start of the second period (22nd minute). Shortly before the end of the second period, Florida’s Matthew Tkachuk scored the Panthers’ goal (37th minute).

The final third then got off to a really turbulent start. In the 43rd minute, Boston’s Tyler Bertuzzi made it 3-1 for the Bruins, but just four minutes later Sam Bennett reduced the score to 2-3 from the hosts’ perspective.

Things didn’t stay that tense for long after that, however, because Boston struck back almost immediately, and DeBrusk made it 4-2 for the Bruins with his second goal of the game (47th minute). Taylor Hall was responsible for the final decision, scoring the goal in the 57th minute to make it 5-2 for the Boston Bruins and adding the sixth goal in the final minute into the Panthers’ empty goal.
