This Sunday evening, in the NBA, Boston beat Atlanta (105-95) and is now eight straight wins, while after two setbacks, Minnesota recovered against Indiana (120-129).

The Celtics’ good streak continues. While Boston remained on seven straight wins, Ime Udoka’s players followed up this Sunday evening by beating Atalanta at TD Garden (105-95). If the Hawks started ideally and led by ten units at the break (45-55), the awakening of Jayson Tatum’s teammates (38 points and 10 rebounds) during the third quarter hurt the visitors very much. With a scathing 42-23 inflicted in 12 minutes, the Celtics reversed the situation and took control of this meeting with a gap of nine points (87-78). Behind, the meeting was less animated offensively and Boston managed its lead to sign an 8th victory in a row and thus consolidate its 6th place in the Eastern Conference. Jaylen Brown’s franchise (17 points and 9 rebounds) has at the same time come closer to the Philadelphia Sixers, which however has two games less for the moment. For their part, the Trae Young Hawks (30 points and 10 assists) are in 10th place.

The more biting Timberwolves

In the other meeting of the day in the NBA, the bad series of Indiana has also continued. The Pacers are indeed six straight losses, after their loss at Bankers Life Fieldhouse against Minnesota (120-129). If Oshae Brissett (22 points and 13 rebounds) and Tyrese Haliburton (22 points and 16 assists) showed great things for the team coached by Rick Carlisle, the Timberwolves notably made the difference in the second quarter won 41- 25. While Karl-Anthony Towns (15 points and 13 rebounds) was more discreet than usual, Anthony Edwards (37 points) was in great shape and was well helped by D’Angelo Russell (23 points and 6 assists) . After two defeats against the Chicago Bulls and the Sacramento Kings, Chris Finch’s players are back to winning ways. As a result, Indiana remains 13th in the East, when Minnesota occupies 7th place in the Western Conference.
