Botola Morocco: Wydad Casablanca forced to draw in Safi

Wydad Casablanca settled for a draw on the lawn of Olympique de Safi (0-0) this Thursday, January 19, as part of the 13th day of Morocco’s Botola Pro D1.

Despite a few scoring chances, WAC mightn’t score a goal during the trip to Safi. The Casablanca club conceded their fourth draw of the season, finding themselves third in the standings with 25 points.

Mehdi Nafti must find solutions to his attack, less than two weeks before the 2023 Club World Cup which will take place in Morocco.

The Reds and Whites are three behind AS FAR, leaders of Botola. For its part, OC Safi remains 7th with 20 points.

The shock at the bottom of the table, also disputed this evening, between Moghreb Tétouan (13th, 13 pts) and OC Khouribga (15th, 6 pts) did not know a winner (2-2).
