On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Ichika Isshiki and illustrated by Fame, Boushoku no Berserk: Ore dake Level to Iu Gainen wo Toppa suru (Berserk of Gluttony), the first promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for this year in Japanbut doesn’t reveal any production details yet.
Additionally, the main voice cast has been revealed, including:
- Ryota Osaka as Fate Graphite.
- Tomokazu Seki como Greed.
Isshiki and Fame began publishing the light novels through the publisher Micro Magazine in November 2017. The work is also inspiring a manga adaptation by Daisuke Takinowhich is published in the digital magazine Comic Ride from the publisher Micro Magazine since March 2018.

Fate, a guardian who had been working for the castle, is beset by some charges. They are about the constant attacks of hunger caused by an ability that he obtained at birth. A useless ability, which only serves to make him hungrier, however, unbeknownst to him, he has a hidden ability.
One day, after having killed a thief who snuck inside the castle, Fate finally realized her true power. She possesses an ability that feeds on the soul of the subjects she kills, absorbing all of their powers. And so, finally, her constant hunger was sated for the first time. Now, the man who had been treated like a pile of trash has surpassed the concept of power levels, and with the terrifying strength of him he will begin to raise his head…
