Abu Dhabi, October 20 / WAM / The boxing team delegation will head tomorrow (Saturday) to Kazakhstan to participate in the Asian Junior and Youth Championship scheduled from October 21 to November 4.
The team’s players underwent intensive training in the internal camp in Abu Dhabi, in addition to an external camp in Uzbekistan for 20 days last August, with the aim of qualifying and preparing them for the tournament.
The team’s roster includes 4 players in the junior category: Muhammad Mabkhout Al-Karbi (46 kg), Omar Abdul Rahman Al-Balushi (48 kg), Badr Saeed Al-Sidrani (54 kg), and Nahyan Nasser Abdullah (63 kg), in addition to players in the youth category. They are Abdullah Saif Al-Shehhi, weighing 63 kg, and Muhammad Qasim Al-Barout, weighing 80 kg, in addition to the coaches Qasim Muhammad and Hassan Mammadov.
