As a JKN participant, Indra Bekti has the right to receive assistance with brain hemorrhage surgery costs that are borne by BPJS Kesehatan. However, because the hospital is not currently a BPJS referral hospital, costs are not covered.
However, Herma said that if later after Indra Bekti’s condition is stable and needs further treatment, he can use JKN by choosing a hospital that is already working with him.
We offer many alternative solutions so that at any time when the condition is stable they still need further services, be it inpatient or outpatient during control, they can use JKN,” he said.
Brain Bleeding Surgery Covered by BPJS
If you are registered as a BPJS card participant, according to Minister of Health Regulation No. 52 of 2016 concerning Standard Health Service Tariffs in the Implementation of the Health Insurance Program, surgery for blood vessel rupture or brain hemorrhage is borne by the government.
The terms and conditions for receiving brain bleeding surgery services are having an active BPJS Health card. According to these rules, patients will receive inpatient facilities at a referral hospital with three classes at different rates depending on the class.
