A new US report tells of a brazen pickpocket active at Disney World Orlando.
Lousy trick in Florida: The thief snuck into Disney World without buying a ticket. The video surveillance showed that the perpetrator passed the turnstiles without using an admission ticket. In the park, he stole smartphones and accessories from guests.
Three smartphones stolen
The incident happened at the end of November, but details have only just become public. Three smartphones, two chargers, a SIM tool and a bag blocking cellular signals were found in the criminal’s pockets.
Disney thief denies everything
At least one of the stolen devices was an iPhone. The thief says he “found” the smartphones and that he didn’t steal anything…
Alfonso D., the perpetrator, probably did not plan the actions alone. He belongs to a gang that has probably tried to rob Disney guests more than once. The police explain:
Group of people who had caught Disney’s eye with previous problems.
“Suspicious pickpockets had previously snuck into the park without a ticket. They may have already been cautioned for trespassing.”
Alfono’s accomplice Evia P. was caught with a “large sum of cash in her wallet along with a SIM card key”. She too was arrested. Two other accomplices are now charged with trespassing.
