A Brazilian gospel music singer suffered a heart attack during a concert
Gospel singer Pedro Henrique died suddenly during a concert in Feira de Santana, a Brazilian municipality in the state of Bahia, located 115 km from its capital, Salvador de Bahía. The young artist suffered a heart attack.

According to Brazilian authorities, the artist fell ill on stage at an event venue in the Ipê neighborhood. He was then transferred to a nearby polyclinic, but did not survive.
Pedro Henrique lived in Rio de Janeiro, was married and had a 1-month-old daughter. He moved to the capital of Rio de Janeiro at the beginning of his career as a professional singer.

The young man began his musical career in evangelical churches. After being fired from a multinational company, he asked his father for time to fully embark on his musical career. This decision would lead him to commit an entire year to his dream, which would eventually take an unexpected turn in his destiny when his YouTube videos became very popular on the Internet.
“That year I started recording covers on the internet,” Henrique said in an interview in January 2022.

His musical talent and ability to connect with the public would open doors for him when a music producer discovered him on the Internet and invited him to participate in professional recordings, which encouraged his move to Rio de Janeiro.

His popularity was also notable on Instagram, where he had 1 million followers and on Spotify with almost 300 thousand monthly listeners. In addition to his music, Henrique shared his personal and professional life on social networks, including moments with his family, trips and various activities.
On a personal level, the singer married makeup artist Suilan Barreto in March 2018. The couple had a daughter, Zoe, born prematurely on October 19, following just over seven months of gestation.
