Mexico City, Apr 1 (EFE) .- The Brazilian team Ninjas in Pajamas (NIP) swept Argentina’s Leviatán 3-0 this Friday to win the ticket to the Masters that will be played from April 10 to 24 in Reykjavík, Iceland and means the first international tournament of the year of the Valorant video game.

The series faced in Mexico City the second place of the competitive Brazilian, NIP, and the second of Spanish-speaking Latin America, Leviatán, who on Monday fell in the final of the first stage of the Valorant Challengers of Latin America against Krü Esports, a team from the former Argentine soccer player Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero.

NIP won their first map pick of the day, Icebox, to go up 1-0 on the scoreboard. The Brazilians took control of the game from the eighth round, buoyed by their precision in eliminating opponents.

NIP’s best man was Brazilian Alexandre ‘Xand’ Zizi, who took 18 kills to lead his squad in the defensive role and go from 6-6 in rounds to a final 13-6 by taking advantage of Icebox’s knowledge.

Xand reloaded with PIN in the second game of the day on the Haven map, Leviathan’s choice, with another 18 kills.

The Brazilians started in the offensive role and went into the middle of the game tied 6-6 in rounds, but a good defensive performance allowed them to conquer the last eight rounds and put the series 2-0 in their favor.

The Ninjas sentenced the series in the third map, Bind, their second selection of the day, in a definitive game in which Leviathan reacted and forced the extra rounds.

NIP started in attack and went 7-5 up at the change of roles, but the Argentines came from behind and were one round away from obtaining their first point in round 24, however it was not enough and the Brazilians sealed the series led by 24 Xand murders.
