Michael Jordan no longer resides in the residence that is for sale
An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for attempting to break into the home of basketball superstar Michael Jordan in Highland Park, Illinois. Raiden H. was charged with three counts of trespassing into an occupied house and two counts of vandalism Lake & McHenry County Scanner reported.
Highland Park police found Hagedorn Tuesday at the Bulls legend’s Chicagoland home after neighbors reported a break-in. H. was taken to the local prison but later released on bail. The 18-year-old is expected to appear in court on April 20.
Jordan’s jersey number is emblazoned on the goal
Jordan no longer resides at the residence. He had already put the 56,000-square-foot property up for sale in 2012. The home was initially listed at $29 million when it came on the market but is now listed at $14,855,000. The former residence of the six-time NBA champion is known for Jordan’s iconic “23” jersey number on the gate at the property’s entrance.
