We would like to deeply apologize for the concerns and inconvenience caused to everyone involved in Aomori Watts, including our boosters, partners, shareholders, team and front office, due to the bankruptcy of our parent company.
At today’s League B board meeting, it was decided that Aomori Watts will obtain a B2 license for the 2024-25 season.
We were able to produce this report after overcoming the difficult 2023-24 season, which was filled with various events. Thank you to all our boosters, partners, shareholders and everyone who supported Aomori Watts. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
Aomori Watts will also be able to compete on the B2 stage in the 2024-25 season.
The support of so many people led to this result, even President Shimada said it was a miracle. We will continue to give back and bring smiles to the local community and those involved in Aomori Watts.
This incident has been widely covered in the media on a daily basis and we are deeply sorry that not only has confidence in our business been significantly damaged, but the maintenance and survival of our B2 license is now at risk.
We take this situation seriously and have decided to replace the president and representative director.
