A macabre discovery was made this Thursday in Zemst, Flanders. According to information from HLN, a dead body was found near a river. It could be a man missing since last week.
“Nothing indicates an accident or a crime,” said Gilles Blondeau, spokesperson for the Halle-Vilvoorde prosecutor’s office, to our colleagues. “It is probably the missing Edmond Van de Hout, from Hofstade,” he adds. The body was recovered from the water this afternoon.
An investigation is underway and the medical examiner is on site.
