A fire broke out this morning around 9 a.m. in a building on Avenue de Roodebeek in Schaerbeek. When the firefighters arrived, a person was lying on the sidewalk, she had jumped from the 1st floor. The injured man suffered multiple traumas and was evacuated to the hospital. 14 people were evacuated from the house. 4 people, intoxicated by the smoke, were also transferred to the hospital. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.
