Jeddah ∙ The Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, who is a player of the English club Liverpool, has gone to Saudi Arabia. Salah has reportedly agreed to join Al Ittihad in the new season.
Salah has given the green light to Al Ittihad club management to hold talks with Liverpool officials. There were earlier reports that Al Ittihad is ready to put forward an offer that offers 18 million euros for the player and 5.2 million euros for Liverpool for two years. Salah’s manager has previously said that he is unlikely to leave Liverpool as his contract has been renewed.
Salah, 31, has renewed his contract with Liverpool until June 2025. Roma moved to Liverpool in July 2017. Salah has also been playing for the Egyptian team since 2011.
