Video. Sensitive images. The assailant died at the scene of the incident. It all originated when the police officer stopped him, since the vehicle he was driving was listed as stolen.
The Fairfax County Police Office, in Virginia United States, released video from security cameras of police officers who were involved in a shooting incident, where one person ended up dead.
The incident occurred on May 11, 2023, at 4:06 p.m., when Brandon Lemagne, 38, passed a license plate reader who alerted officers to a U-Haul delivery truck, which was listed as stolen in the area.
An officer spotted the vehicle in the 6300 block of Richmond Highway in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, where Lemagne stopped the vehicle in a gas station parking lot. After parking it he got out of the vehicle and then drove away.

In the images, the officer can be seen talking to Lemagne and then how the two walk towards the officer’s patrol, where he informs him that he was going to be arrested (until the situation is clarified) for driving a stolen vehicle.
Lemagne then attacked the officer, trying to get the gun out of the holster. There they hit the uniformed man on the head, while he requests support, reporting that the suspect has his hand on his weapon.
