Because Nicole Schmidhofer has the flu, Olympic champion Thomas Morgenstern takes on ice skates and a rocket suit to chase the speed record with Andreas Gabalier in the Arctic Circle.
Vienna (OTS) – Surprising change of pilot at the world record attempt in the Arctic Circle planned for the beginning of next week! Instead of Nicole Schmidhofer, who is unfortunately ill, three-time Olympic champion Thomas Morgenstern takes over her pilot’s seat to chase the speed record with Andreas Gabalier. Together they want to set a world record in speed skating. And as is well known, this is not done with pure muscle power, but rather with the concentrated power of twelve battery-operated leaf blowers from the VANHANS parent company Einhell. Preparations in Lapland are currently in full swing, “the racetrack is already in perfect condition,” say those responsible.
